Milestone Funeral Partners is proud to welcome Lind Funeral Home of Jamestown, New York, to our growing family.

The Lind story began in 1941, when Bernhard F. Lind began welcoming families into his South Main Street home and assisting people of all faiths and backgrounds through some of life’s most difficult moments. After 18 years, he moved his family home to West Third Street, where that commitment to compassionate funeral service continued to grow.

Bernhard’s sons, Rod, Bob and Skip, proudly carried the family business forward, followed by third-generation family members Terry, Robin, Cindy and Gary. Along the way, generations of dedicated employees became part of what Lind affectionately describes as a quilt of “like-family” individuals who have helped shape the funeral home throughout the decades.

Today, Lind Funeral Home remains a third- and fourth-generation family-operated funeral home, carrying forward a tradition deeply woven into the Jamestown community.

We’re especially proud to welcome Cynthia, Gary, Kirstie, Mark, Brian, Macey, and the entire team of professionals at Lind Funeral Home to Milestone. We are honored that they have entrusted Milestone with the stewardship of a firm, reputation and legacy built with such care over generations.
