Each of us at Milestone Partners served an apprenticeship at one point in our careers. In fact, the mentors from those apprenticeships were fundamental in our professional growth and development. With that in mind, our funeral homes, under the local direction of Managing Partners, support and engage in the hiring, development, and growth of apprentices in the funeral profession. The apprenticeships, internships, and residencies (NY term) are in compliance and coordination with the state specific apprenticeship councils and boards of funeral services. It is the first and most important career investment that we can make in this profession because it puts people first, which is synonymous with Milestone Funeral Partners.

In recent alignment with our Milestone Life Celebrations, we have also expanded our internship opportunities to students in the event planning field. As memorial events become more creative with food and beverage, and celebrations of memories, the role of skilled event planners has grown dramatically within Milestone Funeral Partners.
